Description

Carpets of English bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) thread among the trees in Owler Car Wood, the largest woodland within the Moss Valley Nature Reserve, Northeast Derbyshire. Although the dominant tree species in this section is oak (Quercus spp.) both hazel (Corylus avellana) and rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) grow in the understory.
