Description
‘Jordy’ is a wine-red cultivar of montane knapweed aka mountain cornflower (Centaurea montana). Like its familiar blue-flowered wild cousin it is highly attractive to pollinators, especially bees and butterflies. It has a long flowering season from May until late summer, providing the flowers are removed as they go over. It is, however, less weedy than many of this genus.
