Cultivated carrot – Daucus carota subsp sativus, morning dew, my garden

SKU: N/A Categories: ,

The large umbels of the cultivated carrot (Daucus carrota subsp. sativus) are borne on slender stems and are easily beaten down by the rain. Each umbel bears hundreds of tiny flowers, which seem to be especially attractive to all sorts of equally tiny flies.
