Description
Dark and threatening clouds hang over Great Gable’s impressive southern flank that is composed out of andesitic lava fragmented into knife-like ridges. The shapely mountain is a key part of the landscape of Wasdale in Cumbria and forms the backdrop to the classic view over Wastwater.
