Description
A winter dawn seen from the Pennine Way footpath on the way up to Kinder Scout, the highest ground in Derbyshire. The sun rises over Rushup Edge flooding the snow covered landscape with gentle light. The footpath, opened in 1965, was the first long-distance footpath in the country and marks the start of northern England’s uplands.
