Description
Arbor Low near Monyash in Derbyshire is among the finest examples of British Neolithic stone circles. The henge monument is exceptionally well preserved and the recumbent limestone slabs, thought to be intentional rather than them having simply fallen over, are a unique feature. The site occupies a prominent position on a rolling plateau surrounded by White Peak farmland.
