Description
Dawn light emphasizes deeply eroded shapes within the sandstone boulders of Higger Tor, where these patterns are a familiar part of the upland terrain. Mist slowly begins to clear over Millstone Edge although it still fills the valley below. Both flat-topped Higger Tor and the abrupt escarpment of Millstone Edge are intrinsic landforms along the stretch of the Derbyshire / South Yorkshire border that lies within the National Trust’s Longshaw Estate.
