Reeds in the Upper Lakes, Plitvice

SKU: N/A Categories: ,

The intense blue-green of the water within Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia, is due to the presense of lime mud particles eroded from the surrounding rocks.  This waterbody is part of the Upper Lakes and is populated by reeds (probably Phragmites species).
