Description
Lose Hill (476m) is a peak situated upon the Great Ridge, which is a mass of sandstone and shale that divides the dales of Castleton and Edale in Derbyshire, and is part of the southern reaches of the Pennine mountain chain.. Intense sunlight delineates the ridge’s spine against the shadowy upper reaches of Edale, while the retreating blizzard all but obscures Derwent Moor beyond.
