Description
Fulking, Perching and Edburton Hills, in the South Downs, are formed from Cretaceous chalk that rolls down to a plateau that is criss-crossed by fields. Looming in the distance is Truleigh Hill that reaches 216 metres above sea level and is linked to the other hills by the South Downs Way National Trail as it runs west from Devils’s Dyke.
