The Winking Man at dawn, Ramshaw Rocks

SKU: N/A Category:

The human brain is trained to see meaningful patterns in the world and the sandstone boulders of Ramshaw Rocks in North Staffordshire provide plenty of material for the spotting of significant shapes.  Erosion has scoured these dark Millstone Grit rocks into a peculiar humanoid likenesses known as the ‘Winking Man’, who faces east and watches the sunrise over Morridge Moor.
