Towards Kinlochewe from Beinn Eighe

SKU: N/A Categories: ,

Looking northeastwards down Glen Torridon the waters of Loch Bharranch are just visible part way along the valley carved into a broad u-shape by passing glaciers.   To the left Beinn Eighe rises to a majestic 1010 metres and although primarily composed of Torridonian sandstone the summits are light-coloured quartzite.  The northern part of this peak is inlcuded in the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve.
