Description
Glamaig (775m) is one of the so-called Red Hills or Red Cuillin, which are granite mountains that rise to the east of the River Sligachan. Seen from Glen Sligachan, Sgurr Mhairi’s peak appears almost perfectly conical reflecting in still and peat stained waters inhabited by bogbean (Menyanthes trifoliata) as a cotton-wool-like cumulus mediocris cloud passes overhead.
