Description
Fadhail Sheileboist (Seilebost) is an extensive area of sand flats on the Isle of Harris’s western coast. These marginal zones feature exceptionally fertile grasslands, known as machair, and tidal saltmarshes. The hills of North Harris and Taransay island lie across the sea and are silhouetted by the lingering midsummer evening glow as the hour approaches midnight.
