Description
The wooden tower on the beach at Burnham-on-Sea, in Somerset, is known as Low Lighthouse. It is a listed building and one of three lighthouses serving this stretch of coastline. Brackish puddles left in the wake of the receding tide reflect the narrow beam of sunlight escaping through the cloud layer.
