Description
The last of the evening light catches the upper reaches of Cressbrook Dale in Derbyshire, falling on the bright limestone of Peter’s Stone – a significant landslip. A lone hawthorn (Cratageus monogyna) grows on the steep, sparsely vegetated, slopes.
