Description
Frosted sandstone boulders on the southern edge of Higger Tor mark the path’s descent to Hathersage Moor. Mist obscures the view across to Carl Wark and Millstone Edge, which along with Higger Tor are the key landforms on the stretch of the Derbyshire / South Yorkshire border that lies within the National Trust’s Longshaw Estate.
