Description
When first coming into flower spring snowflake (Leucojum aestivum) looks like a tall snowdrop. Yet as the flower opens it more closely resembles a bijou Narcissus, minus the trumpet. This bulb is a UK native, preferring wet woodland habitats, and makes a good addition to a shaded area of the wildlife garden.
