Description
A large granite pebble lodged in quartz porphyry at Cleiteadh nan Sgarbh, on Arran’s west coast. Within the quartz porphyry sizeable quartz crystals can be seen in cross section suspended within the igneous rock matrix, revealed where waves have polished everything smooth.
