Description
Red bistort ‘Blackfield’ (Persicaria amplexicaulis) is among the later flowering perennial plants, with blooms lasting into November. Each spike bears many tiny flowers, making it popular with any bees, hover flies and wasps that are still about at this late stage in the year.
