Description
Faraid Head is a rocky peninsula at the eastern edge of Balnakeil Bay, near Durness. The location is noted for its large dunes, white sands and views across the remote Cape Wrath in one direction and the North Sea in the other. The whole landscape is part of the Northwest Highlands Geopark.
