Description
Seal Edge on Kinder Scout, the highest peak in Derbyshire, faces north overlooking the moor known as Seal Flats leading on down into the Woodlands Valley. To the left is the northernmost point of Kinder Scout, known simply as ‘The Edge’ (625m). Clouds linger in the valley’s upper reaches, beyond which Bleaklow Hill (633m) appears as the higher of two slight bumps in the otherwise flat terrain.
