Description
Twr Bach (Little Tower), a lighthouse perched on the western tip of Llanddwyn Island (Ynys Llanddwyn), Anglesey, frames the view of the Lleyn Peninsula peaks cross Caernarfon Bay. The pale grey limestone in the foreground contrasts with the dark grey basaIt on which the lighthouse is sited. Ynys Llanddwyn is a tidal island connected to Anglesey by a stretch of sand that is sometimes completely isolated at high tide. It is part of the Newborough Warren National Nature Reserve.
