Description
Rhobell Fawr in Gywnedd is an extinct volcano dating from the Ordovician period that stands somewhat separate from the other mountains and it offers expansive views of surrounding Snowdonia. To the northwest lies Snowdon and the Glyderau, volcanic mountains from the same period that followed on from the eruption that creates Rhobell Fawr.
