Description
Columbine or granny’s bonnets (Aquilegia vulgaris) are a classic cottage garden plant that is also a British native. They are equally happy growing in full sun in a mixed border or in the dappled shade of a woodland-style garden. The blooms are highly attractive to bees and are also visited by butterflies.
