Description

The Moss is name of the brook whose many tributaries flow through the wooded landscape of the Moss Valley Nature Reserve in Northeast Derbyshire. The area includes semi-natural natural ancient woodland, such as this hazel (Corylus avellana) coppice that is home to a large population of English bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta).
