Description
A detail from the shoreline rocks at Mupe Bay in Dorset indicates that the smooth limestone slabs are rich in fossils. Colourful pebbles and assorted shells, tumbled by the tide, gather in crevices and hollows. Mupe Bay is part of England’s internationally important Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
