Description
Early morning sunshine falls on Mam Tor, highlighting the hill cum landslip’s presence above Castleton village in the shaded valley below. Seen from the summit of Win Hill, the Hope Valley peaks lie at the other end of a well-walked footpath across Thornhill Brink onto the Great Ridge. The whole of Kinder Scout’s mountain plateau can be seen stretched out along the horizon.
