Description
Stac Pollaidh, in Assynt-Coigach, overlooks Loch Lurgainn while beyond its waters Beinn an Eoin and Ben More Coigach rise steeply. The peaks here are Torridonian sandstone ‘inselbergs’, or island mountains, surrounded on most sides by lochs and other similar peaks.
