Description
The Bay of Creekland lies on Hoy’s northeast coast and it faces back towards Orkney Mainland across waters interupted by the small island of Graemsay. This sandy stretch is slightly pink, even under normal lighting conditions, as the rocks that underlie the island are Old Red Sandstone.
