Description
Pease Bay on the Berwickshire coast is surrounded by vivid cliffs composed of Old Red Sandstone of Devonian age. The rock is formed from both fluvial (from a river) and aeolian (wind-borne) deposits, which erode at different rates creating a strikingly varied surface texture.
